Initial Idea 1

My first idea is from Brief 1 and is a music video for a rock song, along with a website homepage for the band and a digipak for the album's release. For the music video, I would most likely choose a song in which I could create a music video relevant to the lyrics of the song. Additionally, I would need to consider who the audience for the song/artist is and cater the music video to appeal to them - e.g a younger band would mostly likely appeal to younger audiences, so the video would need to appeal to them. For the video, I would need a small cast of both male and females who are comfortable in front of the camera. I would most likely film in both indoor and outdoor locations with my Nikon D3100 camera, using a tripod to create a stable shot. If my video required any speaking, I would use an external microphone for my camera. For the digipak, I would use Photoshop to create a design relevant to the band's genre and, if necessary, a photo shoot with those in the music video/band for inside the digipak - something commonly found in digipaks. For the website, I would need to learn how to create a basic, yet effective website that would reflect the type of band the video is for and represent the music they produce.
